I have been searching the web for a while now and i cannot find a company or web based seed bank that sells Lombardy Poplar seeds. I can find numerous ones that are willing to sell me the trees partly grown, but no seeds. Does anyone know where i might be able to find some seeds?

I don't know of any sources to buy seeds. They are such a fast growing tree that there is not much incentive for seed companies to sell seed. The seedlings are cheap. I have about 15 in my yard and if it were the right time of year I would be willing to send you some seeds.

Maybe you could place classified ads on craigslist and ebay asking for some?

Growing trees from seed would take a good many years to actually have something that you could plant outdoors. I am wondering if there is a reason why you don't want a small tree that would be ready to plant?

Check at gurneys.com. They have several types of trees. In fact, I just double-checked their website, and they have them for about $25, plus they're buy one get one free.

you can't, there are no seeds. it is a cultivar, a male clone that is propagated by cuttings
