Greenhouse Advice?

I have relocated to a Zone 5 climate (from a Zone 10). Yeah, that's a story for another day....

Anyway, I really like to garden, and am hoping to start up a veggie and cut-flower garden eventually. I'm thinking that it would be a great idea for me to start budgeting for a nice greenhouse for not only starting seed (my preferred method of growing) but also for extending the season for different items that might otherwise not do well in an early winter or a chilly spring.

Anybody have recommended web-sites or readings that helped YOU out when you started your greenhouse? I'm overwhelmed by all the info out there.

Thanks!

Judging from what you said, I gather you want to build your own greenhouse? If so, the following websites might help you out.

I really like Mother Earth News, for all things green:

And our first greehouse was built from PVC pipe, and heavy duty plastic. See:

Also consider cold frames, made inexpensively of old windows...that's another question waiting to be asked, right? lol

Congrats on the move...

Happy Gardening!
