Hey, I recently purchased a bottle of Bug-B-Gon Ready-Spray for lawn/garden use.

Unfortunately, I lost the attached instructional manual.

Can I use it before rain? If not, how long must the gap be between application and rain? Thanks!

Rain will weeken any pestiside if it rains day of application.

If that happens you will have to re apply.

But it is ok to apply a few hours after rain because alot of bugs come out after a rain. But for best results I'd say apply when you have at least two days or more of dry weather to give the best chance of the pestiside to work and not be washed away or deluted by rain.

How to Use

Shake well before using. Adjust spray nozzle to give a fine spray. Hold sprayer approximately 12 inches from plant and spray, thoroughly covering all plant surfaces until slightly wet. When done, close nozzle.

Nuisance Pests: Apply directly to listed pests in outdoor areas.

Outdoor Surfaces: Spray buildings, porches, patios, garages and other areas where bugs have been seen or are found.

When to Apply

Apply as necessary to maintain control, at least 7 days between each application.

Where to Use

On roses, flowers, shrubs, vegetables and fruits, or on outdoor surfaces of buildings, porches and patios.

Where Not to Use

Rain will weaken MOST pesticides, but it actually helps others. She is right on yours, however. If you had the good stuff then you would be okay.

Wisdom Lawn granulars are the best for rainy areas. It actually proves more effective then a lot of sprayed on pesticides.
