How much extra for the other insect protection? How much more to include rot (fungi)? Woods are full of both and you'd need to know a lot about the construction of your house to work out the risks.

$250 isn't very much to cover you against loss. Check the wording of the contract--it probably has more outs than a stadium.

Suggest you ask another three pest managers to come and take a look at the place and provide a written quotation. You can then weigh these up and negotiate a best outcome.

did they treat already and this is the renewal or is it their new ploy of getting money until termites are found and then treat... you are basically paying well over $350.00 a year for an inspection, which can be done usually for $75 -$150. If this is the renewal price after a treatment, it can depend on how it was treated and how confident you are with the work that was done on the home.

we lived near a forest in our old house, installed the sentricon system around the perimeter and all was well. sold the house and it passed termite inspection. just dont leave any stumps right against the house, those termites and carpenter ants love moist stumps.

To give you a good answer more info is needed. $250 is a good price, but what do you get? Where do you live and how old is your house? Rick
