buy a few instant cold packs, and open them up. the white beads inside are ammonium nitrate.

It only works for bomb making when you mix diesel with it (works even better with some aluminum powder added, too, probably some other stuff, too). Until then, it's a safe, legal product, in the hands of farmers. Maybe not in Singapore. Ammonium nitrate is the most concentrated, pure form of nitrogen you can buy. Go to where farmers buy their fertilizer.

You can usually get it in the US if you sign for it. If you are using it for fertilizer, try 16-0-0 instead.
