There is an actual Hotel California in Palm Bay, Florida. However, it is not the one from the song.



The one from the the Eagles' song was actual a metaphor for the state of affairs in the Hollywood and/or music industry(ies). Therefore, there is no Hotel California (regarding that song).

The cover image is of the Beverly Hills Hotel. However, claims have been made by various hotels around the world to be the actual inspiration for the song, most notably the Hotel California in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
