I have around 1 acre of land and wondered which Echo leaf blower is best ? I have alot of trees so do not know if I need a more expensive back- pack model . At Home Depot it would be around 300$ for this type . Sorry I do not remember the exact model numbers of these .

I would go with a backpack blower if you can afford it. After 15 minutes or so with a hand held, your arm and wrist start to get tired. The backpacks usually have more air volume than hand helds as well which is much better for when the leaf pile starts to get very big.

My advice: Go with the PB-500. They make it in either the hip mounted throttle control (PB-500H) or the tube mounted throttle control (PB-500T). Both are the same except for the location of the throttle control so choose which ever is more comfortable for you.

Personally, I would buy it from a dealer rather than a box store. Dealers can offer more help and advice and will be there to help should there ever be a problem or you need a part. Also, most dealers will let you test the machines out, so you can make sure that you know what you are getting.

PS: Good choice with an Echo. You won't regret it!

I've had my Echo PB-500T for two seasons now. I am able to blow the leaves off my yard and my neighbor's yard in a relatively short time. Whereas my most powerful electric hand-held leaf blower would have a tough time moving a huge pile of leaves (consolidating the leaves as I move them), the PB-500T moves them with ease. Bottom line: It's a great tool and I love it!. You can visit http://leafblowerhq.com to find the best leaf blower with reviews, buying guides and more

All of them are good but unless you are trying to create a park-like setting, it would be better to let the leaves fall and create a mulch on the ground. A thick layer of mulch (composted matter) is very beneficial for the rest of the plants you may have plus keeps down weeds.
