My birdbaths are concrete so I used a high quality concrete paint. That was 3 years ago and they still look great! Check

On concrete birdbaths, the only paint that will work is cement paint. You can use other paints such as latex and spray paint but they will not last. If you live in a climate that has temps below 32 degrees, please remember to do annual care for your birdbath. It cannot stand in an area that receives any rain or snow, as the base will be subject to continuous wintertime freezing & thawing, and will crumble. The bath part will crack when liquid in it freezes & expands. I've enjoyed mine for many years. I live in Iowa. Thanks for a great question, and for caring for the birds!

Depends what the birdbath is made out of. Go to home depot or lowes and ask them. Youi want to be sure it will not harm the birds

What is the birdbath made of? If it is cement, you can use a cement stain, if plastic -- Krylon makes a plastic paint

And a non-paint suggestion -- if you live where it freezes in winter, just invert the bowl over the stand and it looks like a big white mushroom all winter.
