Our seeds got mixed up when we started several typed of seeds at once in May..... Anyway these have been happily taking over our house until they hit the ceiling lol... well I remember us gettin snapdragons but not sure if these are it... they where in 4 seperate small pots inside all this time until yesterday I found this old giant pot and threw the plants in and leaned them against the rail.... they are heavy! Lol. So does anybody know what these are and maybe what I should do with them? It's getting chilly and i see they have already taking a beating... .what do you do with outside plants when it's cold? One of those things I don't know Hahahaha how weird. These flowers are straight in the air like lavenders and purple. I remember them growing and the leaves are green duh but slowly red took over the middle. .....

Help lol thanks

They are definitely not snapdragons.

If they were growing indoors in pots, you can assume that they are not hardy.

I would prune them at least in half and keep them in the house.

Definitely not Snapdragons. These are Solenostemon scutellariodes or coleus, sometimes also called painted nettle as they are from the lamiaceae or nettle family. In mild areas that have no snow they are perennial, but in colder areas they are not hardy so if you leave them out they will die. They can be kept indoors though as a houseplant. Pinch out the growing tips and they will go bushy or cut a length of stem just below the leaves and pop it in a pot of water. It will grow roots and you can plant it up.

You can plant anything and keep it from freezing, by planting it in pots with some bagged soil and keeping the pots, in the house or green house. Just be sure to feed and water the plants, at least every other day.

The flowers in this photo are Snapdragons. Snapdragons can be planted in early spring 2–3 weeks before the frost free date whenever that may be where you are located.

You let them freeze off, then you store your pots and plant new plants in the spring.

Those are some variety of Coleus. They are annuals, and do not tolerant frost.
