Are these seeds you have obtained from a Golden Apple that you ate? If so, you will probably never get that true species again. An apple's seeds contain data from all different parts of the seed, meaning one seed in an apple does not have the same information that any other of those seeds do. It is best to buy the certain seed if you can find it, or even better, purchase a seedling.
