You need to get some perspective here. These are plants, not your parents or your kids, they are expendable. You will kill or see many die as you garden. I've killed tons over the years but again they are just plants, not Fluffy your pet dog! Go to a nursery with pictures and ask for help, not HD, Lowes or Walmart, a real nursery. They will be glad to help.

Many similar plant symptoms can have different causes. Over watering, over or under fertilizing, disease and fungus attacks, as well as some insect infestations can start out looking similar. You might be over reacting, but it would probably be better to treat your flowers and be safe. Fungi, such as rust, are often very persistent and difficult to eradicate, so I recommend you buy a copper-based fungicide. Here is one link showing many different types of fungicides. http://www.planetnatural.com/product-category/organic-gardening/natural-pest-control/fungicides-plant-disease/ You should be able to find one locally, and you should apply it ASAP.

Use Neem Oil. It's an organic fungicide that controls fungal diseases like black spot, rust, powdery mildew, scab and botrytis.
