i was at the edge of the woods and i saw a round hole in the ground. it was slanting down a little. it's mud and the shape of it looked like it was caused by a snake. then i saw another one not too far away. the ground was raised and it looked like a snake had been through it. it was about 2-3 feet long.

was it for sure a snake?
how do snakes dig holes?
how can i get it to come out?

just answer whatever you can.

thank you :D

well it could be a number of things. rats/mice, gophers, mud daubers, you might not want to get "it" to come out!!

Snakes don't dig holes. It is properly a gofer. Snakes live in a hole sometimes but they don't make them. Smooth the sand outside of the holes, than check for tracks. Then you will know if it is a snack or other small animal.
